Miles Coggan, Co-Owner, President - With a degree in criminology and time spent in the U. S. Air Force as a commissioned officer, Miles is a no-nonsense businessman who has thoroughly met the demands of dealers and collectors in his capacity as President of  J. J. Teaparty. With three decades of experience in the field, Miles has assembled many important collections of type coins throughout his career. His grading accuracy and counterfeit detection skills are highly regarded in the numismatic industry. Miles can be reached via email at miles@jjteaparty.com

Scott D. Sparks, Co-Owner, Vice President - Scott is known throughout the industry for his extensive knowledge of the wholesale market's ebbs and flows. He gathers this information as he travels extensively to coin shows   throughout the country. His friendly "lets do business manner" helps create a flurry of activity at shows. He is a Morgan dollar specialist and at the time of his acceptance, was the youngest member of the National Silver Dollar Roundtable. Scott is a life member of the American Numismatic
Association. Scott's diverse businesses have allowed him to obtain valuable management skills which he has incorporated at  J. J. Teaparty.  Scott's youth, knowledge and experience, together with our team of professional numismatists, offer a bright future for the company.

Mike Berton, Numismatist and Comptroller - A recognized numismatist throughout the coin business, Mike has been a familiar face traveling the coin convention circuit since the 1960s. His experience is immense in all areas of numismatics and he acts as another one of our buyers who is very careful and critical in his purchases. As our overseas representative, Mike has purchased many world and United States coins in retail shops and auctions for our customers. In addition to his convention travels, his duties include keeping a tight rein on our expenses so that your coins are reasonably priced. Mike can be reached via email at mike@jjteaparty.com

Liz Coggan, Numismatic Buyer - Liz spends a good portion of her day on the telephone buying and selling coins. Liz entered the coin business as a secretary to Q. David Bowers at the young age of 18. Under his tutelage Liz learned about all aspects of numismatics as well as how to run a successful auction house and mail order company. Whether you collect Lincoln cents or rare United States gold pieces, Liz will put all her experience and knowledge together to find the right coins for you. She travels to all of the major coin conventions and has numerous dealer contacts throughout the United States. Liz is frequently called upon by collectors to represent them in the liquidation of their coin collection.  Her insider information of auctions and retail sales experience, along with her negotiating skills, combine to achieve the  highest prices realized for our client's coins. Liz has handled many great rarities and finest known specimens during her numismatic career and is a specialist in die varieties in all United States coin series. Liz is also a contributor to The Guide Book of United States Coins. Liz can be reached via email at liz@jjteaparty.com

Gail Watson, Program Director  Gail is a valuable asset to our numismatic team with over 20 years of experience. Gail has a great reputation within the industry as an honest, hardworking, knowledgeable, customer service consultant extraordinaire. She is a well-known personality on the bourse floor and she never lacks for enthusiasm and energy. Customers who know Gail, appreciate these qualities in her and you’ll appreciate her efforts on your behalf as well. She is a discriminating sales person who wants only the best coins for J. J. Teaparty’s clients. Gail will be working closely with Liz Coggan our buyer in the fulfillment of Want List requests as well as selecting desirable pieces for our valued Coin Portfolio Club members. For additional information on both of these services please call Gail toll-free at 1-877-772-Gail (4245) or email her at gail@jjteaparty.com.

Elizabeth Arlin, Accounting Systems Administrator  Elizabeth comes to us from Dover, NH where she received her degree in Business Administration at MacIntosh College.  Elizabeth has over 20 years experience in the banking industry and is your contact for all questions pertaining to accounts payable and receivable. The buck stops with her, so to speak.  She is also the friendly voice you hear on the phone when you call our Boston office. Her thorough understanding of accounting along with her willingness to help wherever needed are valuable assets we appreciate. We know you will enjoy getting to know Elizabeth and working with her, as well.  If you think the last name Arlin seems familiar, but the job description does not, that is because Elizabeth is Liz Coggan's sister-in-law.  Elizabeth can be reach via email at earlin@jjteaparty.com.

Edwin Leventhal, the founder and entrepreneur of J. J. Teaparty, Inc., who established the company in 1957, has retired. Mr. Leventhal is a resident of Sarasota, FL.
